VISION

VISION STATEMENT: MOVING FORWARD ... FOCUSED ON GOD!

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you".

MISSION: We see Alton Assembly of God as a dynamic, Spirit-filled church, on fire for God, impacting our communities, our nation and our world for Christ as a LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE LOST!

PURPOSE: Our purpose is to see souls saved from being destroyed on the rocks of sin. A place that is called and led by God for the purpose of seeing people come and find - FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE. We realize there are times when life is like a stormy sea. Times when we need to anchor ourselves in Someone stronger than ourselves. We find that He is our Rock of safety. When these three things, FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE are utilized and exercised together, they enable us to weather any storm that arises in our lives.

RESULT: If we keep our focus and commitment to God, He will keep us in forward momentum. He will bless us beyond what we could imagine or comprehend! If we become what this vision, mission, and purpose states; Alton Assembly of God will become "GOD'S POWERHOUSE!" in essence we are stating "YES, LORD, WE WILL RIDE WITH YOU!"
